Mix evaporated milk, warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast and slightly stir. Let it sit for 5 minutes until you see bubbles.
Form the dough into a ball and transfer to a lightly greased baking dish. Cover the dough with a towel or plastic wrap and let it rise until it doubles in size, About 1 hour.
Place the rolls to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or 9x13 baking dish. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour.
For egg wash mixture, Whisk egg and milk in a small bowl just to blend.
After an hour, Lightly brush the top of the rolls with egg wash. Be careful not to poke the dough so it won't deflate.
Bake for 20 minutes in 350°F (177°C) preheated oven, until the rolls have golden browned. If the top of rolls brown too quickly, just cover the rolls with aluminum foil.
Remove rolls from the oven and brush with melted butter. Allow to cool or serve immediately.
