Easy Homemade Pancake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  2. Then add the milk, egg, and slightly cooled melted butter in the dry ingredients. Whisk until the batter is smooth. (do not overmix; a few small lumps are fine)
  3. Lightly greased nonstick skillet with oil or butter over medium heat.
  4. Pour about ⅓ cup batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Heat until surface of pancakes have some bubbles. Flip carefully and cook until lightly golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

  5. Topped pancakes with butter and maple syrup or served with your favorite fruits or jam.
