Easy Iced Tea Recipe

This simple and quick recipe of home brewed iced tea is perfect for a summer refreshments.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 teabags
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of calamansi or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Pour the the boiling water into a heat-proof, glass pitcher then add teabags, honey and sugar. Stir until the sugar and honey dissolves. Allow to steep tea for 10 minutes. Don't oversteep.
  2. Remove the tea bags and discard.
  3. Add 2 cups of ice cubes in the pitcher and Stir in vanilla. Mix until well blended.

  4. You can also add slices of fresh lemon and pour over with iced tea. Enjoy!
